The candidates slated for each position are presented below for final votes and will be presented to the IIBEC National Chapter by December 30, 2025.  The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of IIBEC nominating committee encourages each and every voting member of our Chapter to exercise their right to vote in this election. Please note the Election Period is two (2) weeks. Election voting opens on December 1, 2025, and closes on December 15, 2025.  The eligibility of all elected candidates on the FY25 slate has been verified against the by-law requirements for their respective positions. The vetting process includes evaluating information provided by the nominees, membership feedback and reference (including IIBEC members and professional supervisors) feedback.

We are excited to announce that the IIBEC Mid-Atlantic Chapter received a Platinum award (the highest ranking available) in the 2024 IIBEC Outstanding Chapter Awards competition. Thank you to our chapter leadership for their hard work and more importantly to our members for their continued support!

The chapter will be recognized during the 2025 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show on March 8, 2025 in Orlando, Florida – we invite all members who are attending the convention to join us accepting this award.

Welcome to the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

RCI, Inc. becomes the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) – On April 1, 2019, RCI, Inc., a nonprofit association originally incorporated in 1983 as the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI), officially became the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC). The change, approved by its membership after extensive study, brand assessment, and industrywide feedback, will align the association’s name and brand with its purpose and strategy heading into the future. 

IIBEC has grown from a small core of dedicated roof consultants to represent some 3600 members, comprised of building enclosure consultants and other industry stakeholders specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall specification and design. This membership growth and evolution reflect the understanding that roofing issues often influence the entire building enclosure. It was discovered that in increasing frequency, IIBEC members are called upon to address building-wide concerns from below-grade to rooftop.  

IIBEC’s Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), Registered Building Envelope Consultant (RBEC), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), and Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO) programs distinguish professionals with the proven standards of education, experience and ethics.
